The birthday update.

It's been too long. This weekend I celebrated my birthday in an excessive fashion.

Friday after work I went to a baseball game with Stuart from work. The baseball stadium was built for the Olympics many years ago and is located directly next to the Olympic stadium which is quite and impressive site which can easily be seen on google earth/maps. It's actually walking distance from my apartment. I think I might just update that google maps file with it later on. Stuart insisted we put some money on the game which is just as well since my team won after getting a grand slam in the 7th inning with 2 outs.

After the game we went to a bar in Itaewon that just opened and was giving away free booze. After a few drinks we went to another bar where we could play pool. The resident pool master wiped the floor with both of us so we tried another bar. I won a few games there and decided to call it a night. Stuart stayed behind and rumor has it stayed out until 8am or so. He didn't make it to my birthday dinner the following day.

Saturday I just laid low until 6:15 when I had a dinner reservation at an awesome restaurant called Platinum. They have an all you can eat and drink deal on Saturdays. The buffet consists of raw fish, various red meats, muscles, sushi, pizza, spaghetti, chocolate for dessert and more. The restaurant also brews its own beer which is quite excellent. The dinner had a great turnout, upwards of 20 people from Korea Ultimate, my school and other acquaintances came out to celebrate my birthday with me. Post dinner activities included roof top frisbee and a school uniform party. I lost my favorite zipper hoody at some point. The night is a bit of a blur to be perfectly honest.

Sunday I discovered 3 episodes of the office I hadn't seen so that was a nice gift from fate. After watching those I went to usual post Ultimate hangout which is a bar called the Rock (that place with the huge vinyl collection). I was forced to drink a frisbee full of beer. You can fist almost a full pitcher in a regulation disc.

This morning one of my kids gave me a present. Speaking of which I need to go eat lunch with the kids. Ciao.

Awesome dude, happy belated birthday.

Haven't seen you on as much, but I've finally quit Convergys (how about that, eh?)..and I'm working downtown as a financial analyst.

Hopefully I'll catch you on MSN sometime soon.
